Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (‘Conditions of Sale’) are binding upon the individual or legal entity (‘You/Your’) making a reservation (‘Reservation’) and the temporary accommodation service provider named in your confirmation e-mail (‘Confirmation’) (‘We/Us/Our’). These Conditions of Sale are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts under the conditions of common law, and apply exclusively to all Reservations made at Our establishment.

You confirm that you are over eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal right and capacity to make and pay for Your Booking.

Lifestyle and use of the premises

In order to guarantee the tranquillity of the premises and the comfort of our guests, a certain “art de vivre” must be respected by all.

Smoking is forbidden in the rooms and inside the house. You agree to abide by the rules of etiquette that will be set out for you, and by these general terms and conditions of sale. Proper dress is required in common areas.

No meals may be taken in the rooms. You undertake to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of your stay and to declare systematically, and assume financially, any damage for which you may be responsible.

Please note that the kitchen in the common room is not available to guests. It is strictly forbidden to use it without prior request to the owners.

Guests’ attention is drawn to the fact that minors on the property are the sole responsibility of their parents or guardians.

No noise pollution will be tolerated after 8pm. The swimming pool is available to guests from 9am to 7pm. The pool security gate must be closed automatically.

Children under 18 are not admitted to Suite 1634 (room with whirlpool bath). The whirlpool bath in this suite cannot be used before 9am and after 9pm.

Reservations

Once your reservation has been confirmed, we will send you a reservation number by e-mail. This reservation number is required if you wish to cancel or modify your reservation at a later date. You will also be asked to quote this booking number as a reference in all your communications with us.

Your reservation will be considered definitive once you have received our confirmation and, depending on the payment terms indicated and accepted by you, we have either cashed the total value of the reservation or have been able to guarantee your reservation by means of a bank card. To be valid, your reservation must be guaranteed by a credit card.

Rates

Rates are expressed in the currency indicated on your confirmation and at the time of payment of your reservation and include VAT or other applicable taxes. The price of the reservation is based on the number of people, number of nights, dates and type of rooms specified in your confirmation.

Any additional products or services specified at the time of booking are also included in the total value of your reservation. The rates quoted on your confirmation do not include any additional charges, purchases or services incurred by you during your stay.

Availability

In the very rare event that we are unable to provide you with temporary accommodation corresponding to the description and conditions mentioned in your confirmation, we will offer you alternative accommodation. If the price of the proposed replacement service is lower than the prepaid rate, the difference will be reimbursed. If the price of the replacement services is higher than the advertised price, we will pay the resulting price surcharges, provided that the quality and nature of the replacement services remain reasonably comparable to the services originally proposed in your booking.

Arrivals and departures

Check-in and check-out times are specified in your confirmation. If you wish to arrive outside the times indicated in your confirmation, please contact us directly to reconfirm your arrival time. If Your arrival exceeds the normal hours or the scheduled arrival time, and without prior agreement with us, we have the right to cancel Your reservation for the entire stay and demand payment of the cancellation penalties stipulated in Your confirmation.

Changes and cancellations

The terms and conditions for modifying or cancelling your reservation are indicated in the “Cancellation conditions” section of the confirmation sent to you by e-mail.

If you cancel your reservation 7 days before your stay, the cancellation is free of charge. After the cancellation deadline, the full cost of the stay, including any additional products or services included in the booking, will be payable.

Failure to arrive on the scheduled arrival date is considered as a complete cancellation of your booking for the entire stay and we are therefore not obliged to ensure that the selected temporary accommodation remains available.

If you modify your booking, the number of occupants, the dates or the type of room (‘Modification’) the rates may change. If you request a change and we are unable to accommodate it, your booking may be cancelled. If cancellation occurs before the deadline specified on your confirmation it may be subject to the late cancellation penalties specified on the confirmation.

Payment

The amount of the reservation to be paid is indicated in your confirmation. Fifty (50) percent of this amount may be debited from your credit card account following dispatch of your confirmation. The order will be automatically cancelled if your credit card is refused by the bank or if there are insufficient funds in your account.

Payment for any remaining balance, other goods, products or services consumed during your stay with us must be paid by you in full prior to your departure. Should you leave our establishment without paying your balance, we reserve the right to debit the credit card you submitted at the time of booking for any outstanding balance.

ATTENTION – your credit card details are processed in accordance with PCI-DSS security standards in order to guarantee your reservation. Beyond the cancellation deadline, we reserve the right to pre-authorize, or even debit, the value of cancellation penalties from your credit card. Similarly, if a deposit is due on or after a certain date, we reserve the right to pre-authorize or debit your credit card for the amount of the deposit when due. When this is simply a pre-authorization, no amount is debited from your account, but the available credit on your bank card may be reduced by an amount equal to the value of the cancellation penalties or the amount of the deposit in question.

Liability

We do our best to describe the type of accommodation offered, the location of our establishment, its level of comfort and its main features, its approval and tourist classification in accordance with current regulations, but we are unable to assure you that our services will meet your expectations in any way whatsoever. If you have any questions concerning the specific conditions of accommodation and services offered by our establishment, we invite you to contact us directly before the cancellation deadline and we will do our best to answer them.

We shall not be liable to you for any failure to perform any of our obligations hereunder that is not our fault (fraud, misrepresentation, etc.), or that is the result of force majeure. In any event, our liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you and received by us for your reservation.

We will use all reasonable care and diligence to ensure that our obligations are fulfilled. We will not be liable for any consequential damages (including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of money, loss of time, lost opportunities, or any other harm or damage not directly caused by us) or that we could not reasonably have foreseen.

You are responsible for any damage, loss or harm suffered by our establishment as a result of any fault (acts or omissions) or negligence on your part. In such event, you agree to pay us directly any sum reasonably required to make good any such damage caused by you. We reserve the right to cancel your booking immediately and without refund in the event that your behaviour during your stay ceases to be reasonable and/or gives rise to serious complaints from the establishment’s staff or other guests of the establishment.

Protection of personal data

Please note that your personal data is required to process your reservations. This information is recorded in our system and transmitted to our service providers, who will process your reservation. You have a permanent right of access, rectification and opposition with regard to information concerning you. To exercise this right, please write to us at the address shown on your confirmation.
